Our Board of Trustees guides our community towards a future shaped by inclusivity, innovation, and a deep commitment to Reform Judaism. This dedicated team works collaboratively with our clergy, professional staff, and members of our Temple family to ensure we stay focused on our mission and continue to thrive.
Board members are selected by the Nominating Committee and are elected at the Annual Meeting in May to serve a three-year term. RTFH’s Board of Trustees has several committees designed to support our operations: Executive, Finance, Membership, Nominating, Ethics, House, Security, and Reopening.

My wife, Helene, and I have been members of the Reform Temple for over 20 years. We particularly enjoy the warmth and sense of community that comes with being a part of RTFH. Our sons, Max and Zachary, were Bar Mitzvahed at the Temple. Professionally I am Chief Executive Officer of Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), a human services agency in White Plains. Prior to my work at WJCS, I worked for almost 30 years in New York City government providing services to low income New Yorkers. I was honored to serve as Commissioner of the Department of Homeless Services under Mayor Bloomberg. In my free time, I am a sports fan and particularly enjoy watching the New York Mets whom I am confident will one day win a championship.
