Susannah Gilbard

I became a member of Temple in 1967 when my family joined to get me started in Religious School. Since then, I have been on endless committees, most notably Co-Chair of the Religious School, Rabbi Selection Committees, and the RTFH Board of Trustees, following my mother’s lead. My children (Joshua Zweighaft, Sam Zweighaft and his fiancé, Sydney Reade) are now grown and are members of RTFH in their own right. So for 3 generations (so far) we have been very active Temple members. In my professional life, I am a lighting designer and a Partner in a large engineering firm. My husband, Mark Heller, is also from a RTFH family. We were Confirmed together! We spend a lot of time with our families and Temple friends and travel as much as time will allow!
