Event Space

The Reform Temple of Forest Hills offers several beautiful event spaces for your simcha or gathering. Whether you are celebrating a b’nai mitzvah or wedding, or hosting any other event, our expansive Ballroom and intimate Garden Room, complemented by an outdoor space, are wonderful settings for special events.

We also have an Educational Wing available for rental (school hours) by daycare centers, schools, and summer camps.

RTFH sanctuary

Sanctuary

Our modern sanctuary is a sacred space for worship and cultural enrichment. It features traditional and modern amenities, including beautiful stained glass windows and a wooden Torah ark, alongside comfortable and flexible seating, a Yamaha baby grand piano, noteworthy acoustics, a modern sound system, live-streaming capabilities, and projection screens for presentations.

  • Room Capacity: 173 seated in chairs
  • Square Footage: 810 sq. ft.

Ballroom

Our spacious ballroom features 20 foot high ceilings, carpeting, a stage, and a dance floor. Half Ballroom Rental Available.

  • Member Rate: $550 3 hour minimum ($140 for each additional hour)
  • Non-Member Rate: $1,100  3 hour minimum ($280 for each additional hour)
  • Square Footage:  5,016 sq. ft. (entire room), 3,936 sq. ft. (carpeted area), 1,080 sq. ft. (dance floor)
  • Room Capacity: 270 seated around tables, 190 seated at tables with space for dancing, 680 for assembly
  • Accessible: via chairlift
  • Kitchen Facilities: available for Kosher-style catering

Garden Room

Our Garden Room, complemented by an outdoor space, is ideal for smaller gatherings or meetings.

  • Member Rate: $330 3 hour minimum ($85 for each additional hour)
  • Non-Member Rate: $660 3 hour minimum ($170 for each additional hour)
  • Accessible: No

Additional Fees

Mandatory:

  • Custodial Care: $35 per hour during the event (plus $35 per hour for set-up and breakdown)
  • Security: $45 per hour during the event (plus $45 per hour for 1 hour before and after)

Optional:

  • Speaker(s) and Microphone(s): $55 each
  • Screen and Projector: $55 each Screen Dimensions: Large (69″ x 120″), Medium (55″ x 113″)
  • Portable Stage: $230
