Chanukah Shuk

Get ready to celebrate the holiday season at our Chanukah Shuk!

Join us for a festive afternoon filled with shopping, community, and Chanukah spirit as we bring together the Temple and the greater Forest Hills community. Shop from more than 45 incredible vendors, including talented artisans, crafters, jewelers, authors, specialty sellers, and local favorites from Forest Hills and beyond. Discover unique gifts, support Jewish and local small businesses, and kick off the Chanukah season together!

The celebration goes beyond shopping! Try your luck with our raffle prizes, with proceeds supporting tzedakah, and bring the whole family for activities throughout the afternoon.

In the Garden Room, PJ Library will host a book swap and bookmark-making activity where children, accompanied by a parent or guardian, can create, explore, and share stories. Bring along any gently used PJ Library or Judaica books your family has outgrown, then pick out a new-to-you book to take home and enjoy.

Throughout the afternoon, we’ll also have special read-alouds with children’s authors and Rabbi Mark, adding even more storytelling and community fun to the day. Read-aloud schedule coming soon!

Whether you’re searching for the perfect Chanukah gift, stopping by for a delicious Israeli treat, enjoying activities with the kids, or simply celebrating with friends and neighbors, the Chanukah Shuk has something for everyone.

Come shop, eat, create, connect, and celebrate the light of Chanukah with us!
