The divine force of God’s creation shattered the world into pieces, producing a broken vessel. How can we repair the world? Through acts of loving-kindness, chesed, we restore the vessel one piece at a time.

Tikkun Olam—Repairing and healing the world through mitzvot.

Women’s Connection and the Social Action Team invite you to the third annual Mini Mitzvah Day on Sunday, August 4.

Activities include:

  • Get out the Vote postcard writing party
  • Support Reproductive Rights postcard writing party

  • GotSneakers—Recycling athletic footwear for the planet
  • Days for Girls—Assembling sanitary supplies for girls in the U.S. To donate items for this project, please see our Amazon Wish List or contact Kathy Francos at .
  • Local Hospitals—Stuffing hearts to deliver cheer to patients
  • Warm Up America—Crocheting squares for blankets
  • Jem Life Church in Jamaica—Beading bracelets as gifts for girls
  • Eagles Up!—Card making to send to our troops
  • Seventh Day Adventist Church Food Bank—Sandwich making
  • The Shiloni Project—donating tzedakah for this Israeli grassroots organization

All ages welcome! Please register HERE by Wednesday, July 31 so we can be sure to have enough homemade lunch and dessert for everyone.
